Srila Bhaktivedanta Sridhar Goswami Maharaj Ji

Srila Bhaktivedanta Sridhar Goswami Maharaj Ji (born 1965) is a highly revered senior Vaishnava leader, spiritual guide, and the Vice President of the International Gaudiya Vedanta Trust (IGVT). He is widely recognized as a pure bhakti preacher and a global messenger of Sriman Chaitanya Mahaprabhu’s mission. Spiritual Journey & Preaching Mission

  • Early Life: Born in 1965 near Jagannatha Puri, Odisha, he embraced a deeply devotional path from a very young age.
  • Guru Parampara: At just fourteen, he took shelter under the guidance of Srila Bhakti Sri-Rupa Siddhanti Goswami Maharaja. He received intensive training under the legendary Gaudiya acharya, Srila Bhaktivedanta Narayana Goswami Maharaja.
  • Sannyasa: He was formally initiated into the sacred order of sannyasa (renunciation) in 2010.
  • Devotional Style: He is beloved by thousands of devotees for preaching with a deep Vraja bhava (the mood of divine love found in Vrindavan), great humility, and ecstatic kirtans.

Vraja Mandala Parikrama & Holy Activities

Maharaj Ji frequently leads massive congregations of national and international devotees through holy pilgrimages, particularly during the sacred month of Kartik. His recent schedules feature major spiritual gatherings across Vraja Dham:

  • Sankalp at Keshi Ghat: Leading thousands of devotees at Vrindavan for the auspicious Kartik Maas Sankalp.
  • Madhukari & Parikrama: Walking through the holy dust of Vraja, performing traditional Madhukari (seeking alms from Brajwasis), and worshiping sites like Bhandirvan and Govardhan.
